Action Bolt

Action Bolt (Pty) Ltd is by far Red Giant's largest client to date - the company itself is huge, a blue chip company with many branches around the country. This was certainly both an exciting and challenging project for us to work on as working with large corporates is a completely different experience from our usual, smaller clients.

Action Bolt is a hardware distributor specialising in the supply of fasteners throughout Africa. Owned by German hardware powerhouse, Wurth Group, the Action Bolt management was given clear instructions on what the website is supposed to achieve.

The website design team were instructed to create a clean, professional website which matched the company's image and reputation, as well as represented the Wurth brand effectively. We are extremely proud of the end result and Action Bolt has already received numerous compliments regarding their website from other large industry members.

In principle, the website is a simple one, with not much advanced functionality. The focus was on strong design and presentation of the well-established Action Bolt brand. A clean colour scheme and certain "Web 2.0" elements make the website appealing to Action Bolt's target market. In the future, Action Bolt will look to maintain a product catalogue of its 25000+ products on the website.
